Dr. Wendy Simpson
Lead Facilitator
Wendy is a Health Psychologist who has been running courses and workshops on Mindful Living and Wellbeing for 10 years, mainly for staff working in health and social care and education services, but also with the voluntary sector and with parents, children and the general public. She loves to facilitate mindful living courses because she enjoys creating spaces where people can be together, practise and discuss ideas in an open, mutually supportive and enjoyable way.
Wendy is passionate about making mindful living accessible to all, as she is aware, both from professional and personal experience, of its quiet power to change our lives. She trained as a trainer in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (Accredited by NHS Education for Scotland) and Mindfulness for Kids (Accredited by Youth Mindfulness).
